The role:  

Working within a dynamic team the Test Manager, will oversee, provide advice to, and manage a team of specialist testing resources within project teams to implement quality testing methods to align with Queensland Health ICT Testing Governance Policy Framework.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise with project teams as an internal specialist consultant, interpret what is required of the testing process and provide leadership, advice and communicate testing outcomes.
  • Implement and provide advice on quality testing methods.
  • Manage the development of testing products, documentation, defect management and test reporting.
  • Manage ICT Testing resource requirements and cost estimates for project budgets, options analysis and business cases.

Are you right for this role?

To secure this role you will have proven experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary ICT projects in all aspects of testing implementations within large, complex IM/ICT programs.  You will demonstrate your ability in all phases of testing, including plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables and auditability.  

Preferably, you will demonstrate experience in test automation preferably in variety of technologies including but not limited to Tricentis suite, Postman, and SQL.

Experience in working with yourQH and/or Smart Referrals application will be highly desirable. 

Additionally, effective communication and engagement skills are crucial to success in this role, calling for the ability to establish and maintain ongoing engagement with key stakeholders to influence to achieve project outcomes.
