We're looking for an experienced, highly motivated Director to lead the provision of Right to Information, Information Privacy and “MECS” technical support services across multiple departments.
We'll assess your eligibility and your suitability to undertake the requirements of the role (including, where relevant, the way you carried out previous roles). We'll also consider your potential to make contributions to the department and how your engagement would support our commitment to equity, diversity, respect and inclusion.
For this role, you'll need to:
• lead the provision of shared services in accordance with service standards and legislative requirements;
• ensure the provision of support to partner departments and offices through excellent customer service and liaison;
• prepare accurate, timely and informative advice and reports on complex matters;
• represent senior management on state-wide forums, inter and intra government groups and forums regarding shared service matters;
• effectively manage the human and financial resources of the team in accordance with departmental policy and within budget provisions and timeframes; and
• foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
