We are looking for a Project Officer to join the Supply Chain Branch to assist in the provision of continuous improvement support, customer and internal workforce engagement, business relationship development and people development advice and support across the branch’s service lines and in partnership with our Hospital and Health Service customers.

What you'll do

  • Support your Partnerships and Improvements Team colleagues in the production of operational and strategic collateral and documentation.
  • Assist the Partnerships and Improvement team to deliver initiatives in line with contemporary project management methodologies to deliver products and services to Supply Chain Branch.
  • Identify and raise potential continuous improvement opportunities and support the Partnerships and Improvement team in their delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project activities and progress to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Assist in the preparation and dissemination of project documentation, including project management plans and materials for specific project activities associated with achieving project objectives.
  • Support workforce and customer engagement activities, including assisting with preparing for meetings, developing materials, creating agendas and taking minutes.

About you

We are searching for someone with:

  • Demonstrated record of success and achievement in similar roles.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience with contemporary project management principles and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability in supporting project activities and supporting governance groups through taking minutes and preparing documents for meetings.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to prepare high-quality written materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to be responsive and well organised and to manage time and competing priorities effectively.

Experience in a supply chain-related role will be highly desirable.
