About the Role  

As the Business Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Operate autonomously in delivering business services in a complex school environment, often requiring interpretation of information and adaptation of processes.
  • Lead corporate services by implementing innovative improvements to systems, standards, and processes.
  • Manage operational resources in alignment with school priorities, analyse data and policies to inform strategic decisions, and oversee risk and contingency planning.
  • Influence and negotiate with key stakeholders to align with the school's strategic vision.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with parents, government agencies, community groups, and industry to support student learning outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders in school initiatives, incorporate feedback, and promote shared goals.
  • Supervise and manage school support staff, including monitoring workloads and performance.

    • Communicates with influence: Strong communication, consultation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at both strategic and operational levels.
