The OO6 Ranger role will work within the Region’s Fire Team to support the delivery the QPWS&P fire program.
The role may undertake tasks such as:
• Tracking the region’s planned burn program & supporting colleagues in the delivery of the program.
• On ground fire operations, including the leading of simple & complex planned burns,
• Oversight of critical & strategic fire lines for bushfire readiness,
• Planned burn & bushfire response incident management functions.
