MSH Centre of Nursing and Midwifery Excellence are looking for a Nursing or Midwifery Director to join their team. Lead strategic and professional advancement of nursing and midwifery practice across the health service. In this senior leadership role, you will coordinate statewide and service-wide initiatives while overseeing governance, strategic planning, and quality improvement. Collaborating closely with the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery, you’ll help shape clinical governance, drive innovation, and support the delivery of safe, high-quality care within a complex and dynamic environment.

About the Role

• Promote and support a culture of continuous quality improvement in line with nursing/midwifery and organisational strategic direction.
• Lead education strategies which facilitate capability and capacity development of nursing/midwifery and other teams through a workforce development framework that promotes continuing education.
• Contribute to a culture of research, innovation, and continuous improvement by actively participating in and supporting initiatives and research that enhances service delivery, encourages new ideas, and translates knowledge into practice.
• Lead, advise and influence, demonstrating integrity, transparency and accountability at operational, professional, policy, research and training levels.
