Lakes Creek State School is seeking a Community Hub Coordinator to strengthen community connections and support families as they engage with school life for the first time.

In this role, you will lead partnerships that create lasting, positive outcomes for children and their families.

This is a 0.60 FTE position, working 43.5 hours per fortnight, and is available until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About the School

About the Role 

As the Community Hub Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to support a positive and inclusive transition into schooling for families in the community.
  • Design and implement wellbeing programs in collaboration with families and the broader community.
  • Develop and enact a communication strategy to promote awareness and engagement in Community Hub activities.
  • Coordinate services and programs that connect families with school-based and external supports.
  • Establish and facilitate consultative and collaborative partnerships across local, state, and federal services.
  • Engage positively with students, staff, families, and the onsite kindergarten in alignment with the strategic direction of the school and Community Hub Partnership.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local services and community networks to support effective referrals and connections.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as reporting, correspondence, and evaluations, with support as agreed upon with the Principal.
