About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Scheme Sustainability, Budgeting and Financial, you will lead a team of Finance Business Partners responsible for delivering QLeave's financial business partnering model and overseeing its investment management function. This leadership role is critical to driving financial sustainability and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance Business Partnering Group for the preparation, monitoring and reporting for planning, budgeting cycle and forecasting
- Provide business partnering to the Enterprise Project and Program Delivery team on project accounting and finance functions as required, to support the successful delivery of QLeave outcome
- Actively drive, administer and monitor investment opportunities in line with the Investment Policy Statement using a high level of understanding of different market protocols
- Deliver finance and budget-related papers and briefs for Executive meetings, Board meetings, estimates hearings and management team meetings within strict timeframes
- Manage QLeave's taxation activities and related reported obligations (e.g. FBT, BAS, GST and payroll tax)

About You
You're a proficient finance leader with expertise in financial business partnering and investment management. You build strong organisational relationships and lead high-performing teams through innovation and collaboration. You're confident in dynamic settings and committed to financial sustainability and strategic outcomes. You bring sound knowledge of financial legislation, standards, and innovative planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
While not mandatory, CA, CPA, or CFA qualifications will be favourably regarded.
