About the role:

  • To provide high quality Occupational Therapy services and interventions ideally as part of the Ambulatory Service (Hands, Lymphoedema/Venous conditions) within CQ Health. This service provides outpatient services located both at Rockhampton Hospital and Central Queensland University Health Clinic.
  • Senior caseloads include the provision of services to acute, sub-acute and out of hospital/community care for each service area as required.
  • Lead quality improvement, research, and service development of clinical areas consistent with CQ Health and Queensland Health State-wide initiatives and strategic directions.

About you:

The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.

  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.

Whilst not mandatory, post graduate qualifications in relevant practice area/s is highly desirable.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $125,887 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
