Thursday Island (TI) is the administrative and cultural heart of the Torres Strait Islands, lying just off the tip of Cape York Peninsula. Known for its tropical beauty, rich Indigenous culture, and close-knit community, TI offers an incredible lifestyle opportunity. This position, with support from Health Workers and other Men's & Women's Health Program team members, will focus on improving preventative gynaecological services (including Cervical Screening Testing) counselling and education within the Torres Strait Model for Primary Health Care which incorporates a Public Health and Primary Health Care framework on Thursday Island and the outer islands of the Torres Strait including Northern Peninsula Area.
