What's on offer?
Fixed Term Temporary Full-time up to 02/11/2025 (with the possibility of extension - not exceeding a total of 12 months)
Remuneration package of up to $10,921 p.m.
- Salary range: $4046.40 to $4402.60 p.f. (AO5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

- Flexible working arrangements may be available
About your opportunity
The Emergency Preparedness and Continuity Management (EPCM) Support Officer supports the development, implementation and performance monitoring of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS) business continuity, emergency and disaster management frameworks.
The role contributes to ensuring that the core organisational aspects (accountabilities) of prevention, preparedness, response and recovery for emergency and disaster management are documented, evaluated, and continuously improved within the Townsville HHS.
Requirements:
- Travel may be required in this position, both within the THHS and throughout Queensland.
- This position may be required to work outside of normal business hours/participate in an out-of-hours roster.
- Applicants are required to be proficient in the use of of MS Excel / MS Word.
Highly desirable
- Possession of a post graduate qualification in Queensland Disaster/Emergency Management Arrangements (or equivalent).
- Possession of a Certificate IV - Workplace Assessment and Training (or equivalent).
- Possession of a Fire Safety Advisor qualification.
