Senior Base Pilot (Turboprop)

Join our dynamic team of QGAir pilots based in Cairns, where we pride ourselves on delivering safe, timely, and responsive frontline aviation services. We are seeking an experience and motivated Senior Base Pilot eager to contribute to providing worldclass frontline aviation services in community safety.
You will use your strong leadership skills to manage and guide a team of line pilots at Cairns, Mt Isa, and Horn Island bases, operating our modern fleet of brand-new Beechcraft King Air B360 turboprops and Caravan aircraft.
As a leader of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet to ensure essential, lifesaving, and emergency aviation support is provided to our partner agencies.

What We're Looking For:
Mandatory requirements:
• Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
• Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating - 4 renewals
• Minimum 3000 hours total time
• Minimum 2000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
• Minimum 400 hours Night PIC
• Minimum 400 hours Multi-Engine PIC
• Minimum 400 hours Turbine PIC
• Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
• Hold a current Australian passport
Highly desirable requirements:
• Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
• Flight Examiner Rating (FER)
• Flight Instructor Rating - Multi Engine
• B360 Type Rating
• C208 (or similar) Experience
