Townsville Hospital and Health Service are seeking applications for future casual employment opportunities within their Pharmacy Department.
If deemed suitable, your details will remain in the Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and you may be contacted further by the Pharmacy Department at the time an opportunity arises.
Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for available positions. Further assessment may be required.

About the work unit / facility
The Townsville University Hospital's Pharmacy provides responsible, safe, effective and economical distrubition and use of medications in the hospital environment.
The hospital pharmacy is limited to patients (including outpatients) of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service and is not open to the general public.

Enjoy generous casual rates of $49.83 to $73.24 p.h (HP3)
About your opportunity:
Deliver professional, client focused pharmacy services and leadership within an evidence-based, quality and multidisciplinary health care environment. This includes training, education, and research activities to the services by the Pharmacy Department.
Promote safe, effective and efficient use of medicines in keeping with the department's goals and objectives and mission statements for the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent) and proof of registration (if applicable).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including criminal history clearance.
