About Us
The focus of the role is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns in Mount Isa. Wellbeing professionals employed through the Student Wellbeing Package work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance the wellbeing and mental health support available to students. The Student Wellbeing Package in place to ensure every Queensland primary and secondary state school student has access to a wellbeing professional at school.
About the Role
As the Wellbeing Guidance Officer you will:
Provide professional support and information for students, parents, carers and school communities that facilitate partnerships in decision making for the enhancement of all students' learning.
Provide services such as counselling, assessment and intervention, focusing on students' mental health and wellbeing.
