About the role
The role primarily involves project and change management whilst leading the clinical implementation of the Queensland Telestroke Program (QTS). This includes guiding multidisciplinary project teams, internal service providers, and external vendors to ensure the delivery of activities for establishing QTS across the state, hosted by the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital (RBWH). Responsibilities encompass developing a Telestroke Model of Care in collaboration with subject matter experts, creating associated program plans for state-wide implementation, and formulating an implementation strategy, including adoption and communication at a strategic level. The position collaborates extensively with clinical, technology and business stakeholders across all organisational levels, working closely with diverse clinical disciplines to ensure excellent outcomes for QTS consumers.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide project management and leadership to ensure successful delivery of key milestones for QTS implementation activities.
- Bring together best evidence from the various disciplines working within the QTS to enable the delivery of evidence-based emergency stroke management for patients receiving care facilitated by QTS.
- Lead the planning and execution of the Telestroke Program, overseeing business cases, project plans, resource allocation, budgets, communication and reporting.
- Manage Program Governance, Control, and Quality, including the organisation of program-related meetings to ensure program benefits are realised.
- To collaborate with clinical experts, other Australian Telestroke service staff and stakeholders to review and analyse current evidence and trends relevant to the implementation of QTS.
