About the role
The purpose of this role is to oversee the delivery of key initiatives within the CBS Finance project roadmap, ensuring effective program management, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with strategic objectives to transform finance functions across Metro North Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Act as the primary lead for the Finance Improvement and Innovation Team (FIIT), with direct accountability for its delivery, governance, and performance reporting during the interim period where no Executive Director FIIT is in place.
- Report directly to the Chief Finance and Corporate Officer (CFCO), and act as the key liaison between FIIT and CBS Executives, providing strategic advice, coordination, and progress updates on the CBS Finance transformation program.
- Establish and lead the foundational operations of the FIIT program, including scoping, prioritisation, and sequencing of roadmap initiatives in partnership with CBS Executive leadership.
- Lead the design and implementation of programs within the CBS Finance project roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and priorities.
- Effectively manage and evaluate multiple projects, engaging stakeholders to assess progress and outcomes at various stages.
