About us:
The Paediatric Outpatient Clinic works closely with a wide range of other departments including Allied Health, Department of Child Safety, Operational Services, and Community Services. Patients seen at the Paediatric OPD include medical patients, behavioural and developmental.
About the role:
A Clinical Nurse (CN) is a Registered Nurse (RN) who is accountable at an advanced level for the coordination of clinical practice delivered in a clinical specialty. This position provides leadership and support to nursing and medical staff and supports the delivery of competent, best practice quality nursing care, while working in collaboration with the line manager of the unit. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for portfolio management with focus on clinical care/leadership, management, and education.
About you:
- Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). A relevant postgraduate certificate or post graduate diploma is an expectation of this position.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, percept staff and contribute to professional nursing practice with confidence and integrity.
- Competence in the application of clinical problem solving and effective coordination of person-centred care at an advanced level.
- Proven ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $69,768 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
