Your key accountabilities
- The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Apply technology and digital pedagogy to learning design, development and delivery of the program curriculum to ensure alignment across both Oxley and NQ Campus.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative in identifying and implementing appropriate processes to ensure continued Program involvement.
- Assist in planning, writing and coordinating the development of course material, curriculum and assessment strategies for Recruit Services training program.
- Develop and deliver orientation, training and mentoring processes to support facilitators as required.
- Perform design, delivery, assessment, recording and timetabling duties within the Recruit Services training programs.
- Contribute to project work and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure continued curriculum delivery and/or improvement of the program.
- Contribute to effective teamwork, problem solving and positive interaction and communication with all key stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the Recruit Services Inspector and intake coordinator, to manage training programs and the Recruits / participants.
- Assist in the facilitation, supervision, and management of the performance of recruits / participants in the Recruit Service programs in line with quality human resource policies with particular reference to employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
- Provide services to students focusing on vocational and/or educational issues and provide assistance to individuals experiencing learning and/or language / communication difficulties.
- Liaise with recruits and facilitators within the Program and provide constructive feedback to Recruits in relation to their academic performance.
Role Requirements
Qualification
- While there are no mandatory requirements for this role possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or accredited tertiary qualification in adult education would be highly regarded.
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
- Staff that have subject matter expertise as outlined by the ANZPAA guideline for Police Trainers may be required to assess or instruct as required by the manager of the program.
