About the role

Provide clinical services to patients at Woodford Correctional Centre. You will be required to provide primary health care and limited emergency medical services to patients of Woodford Correctional Centre. Primary health care and emergency cares and for interested practitioners training in Opiod substitution and pain management. FTE for Monday to Friday coverage of prison clinics (8-hour shifts).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Provide clinical support to Woodford Corrections Health.
• Initiate and be responsible for the clinical care of patients.
• Document relevant clinical information legibly, concisely and accurately.
• Treat patients with courtesy and sympathy and treat all staff and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
• Compliance with Human Resources Management issues, including workplace harassment, workplace health and safety, employment equity and anti-discrimination as applied in the working environment.
