An exciting opportunity exists for the Manager, Contracts and Procurement to play a critical leadership role within the Contracts and Procurement Management function of the Sunshine Coast Health (SCH). This role is responsible for engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that contracted services are delivered in line with agreement terms, performance expectations and strategic objectives.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

The role is accountable for the planning, development and implementation of significant procurements and contract management strategies that drive value for money, service quality and support SCH broader service delivery improvement initiatives. Working closely with SCH directorates, this role seeks to maximise the value delivered from contractual arrangements, including service performance, quality and cost ownership.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and management of procurement and contract management governance frameworks that aligns with the whole of government approach.
- Provide high level recommendations and support to SCH Executive and contract managers for the successful delivery of significant and/or high value contracts.
- Provide procurement and contract management knowledge and expertise in leading, planning, developing and implementing procurement and contract management governance and operational processes for significant contracts between SCH and Service.
Remuneration value up to $182,185 p.a., comprising salary between $150,906- $159,677 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO8).
