About us: Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.

About your role:

• Ability to prioritise works, projects and timeframes, resources, costs and make responsible and accurate recommendations, to produce an effective work output in terms of quality and quantity, without supervision (duration, parts, equipment, people, contracts, permits, isolations).
• Liaise and communicate effectively with all health service staff, other government agencies and private contractors to ensure work is undertaken with minimal disruption to clients and staff.
• Be proactive in reporting any observed deficiencies or defects to Plant, Equipment or built assets during the course of carrying out daily duties.
