About us:
The Pharmacy Department at the Biloela Hospital manages all medications across the hospital, including the preparation and supply of all inpatient medication on the wards, and prescription and dispensary services for patients visiting the hospital. Services are also provided to smaller rural hospitals across the Banana region.

About the role:
The Senior Pharmacist will provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to the wards and clinics at Biloela Hospital and throughout the Banana region. Some travelling will be involved.
The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in daily clinical rounds within the clinical care environment and will also be expected to contribute to the development of unit guidelines and procedures.
About you:
- Degree in pharmacy from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent). A certified copy of qualifications must be provided to the appropriate supervisor prior to the commencement of duties. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a pharmacist in Australia (or eligible for registration in Australia).
- While not mandatory, a graduate diploma or master's qualification in an pharmacy-related field would be well regarded
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge, expertise, and skill in Clinical Pharmacy in appropriate specialist area.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
