About the role
Understand, manage and control risks associated with pharmacy and medicines systems. Continually review and ensure processes are in alignment with contemporary practice in medicines management and digital protocol. Act as a principal liaison between multidisciplinary teams, governance committees and the relevant Support units or vendors. Ensure all relevant requirements are implemented in the applications including standards, quality, security, integrity, privacy, confidentiality and accessibility in alignment with approved and documented governance processes.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply advanced level clinical knowledge and skills to the overall management of the business systems of pharmacy, ensuring safe and efficient processes.
- Apply high level skills in the performance development and management of Clinical Assistants.
- Develop and implement service improvement initiatives that improve the system performance of the pharmacy service.
- Manage advanced level plans and advice on complex electronic medicines systems across multiple CKW facilities.
