The function of this role is to lead and deliver high level support, system administration, application advice and guidance to support clinical service delivery, ensuring the effective and efficient operations of eHealth’s Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS). The role is responsible for leading business-as-usual system/application changes; and support services required for operational delivery of the Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS).

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in the delivery of state-wide production support; configuration management; and enhancement services for the enterprise CVIS application.
- Acquire and maintain a specialist working knowledge of clinical workflows and the impact of clinical informatics systems on these workflows.
- Establish and apply a systematic approach to operational support for the enterprise CVIS application by providing leadership in upgrades and patches of the system software, undertaking information system functionality test case preparation.
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical, research and problem-solving skills and ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management. (SFIA: USUP 4; PBMG 5; CHMG 5, RELM 5, CFMG 5).
- Demonstrated well-developed level skills and experience in managing clinical applications and its integration with business requirements, technical environments and quality control in a large and complex service delivery environment. (SFIA BUSA 4; ASUP 5; ETMG 4; UNAN 4; QUMG 4)
- Demonstrated highly developed clinical knowledge and understanding in Cardiology Informatic workflows and technologies and digital image management and their impact upon clinical service delivery. (SFIA: UNAN 4; TECH 4; REQM 5; CNSL 4)
Specific Working Conditions:
- Travel within the state and interstate from time to time may be a requirement of this position.
