The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Apply professional clinical judgement in providing Nuclear Medicine services
- Engage in self-directed learning and contribute to the professional development of the unit
- Undertake routine clinical Nuclear Medicine duties independently within accordance with a duty roster
- Assist with and provide clinical practice supervision and training to graduate level staff and students
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology/Science
- AHPRA Registration
- Radiation Use Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $79 051 - 116 189 per annum

The Medical Imaging Service delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
The service provides a Level 6 Medical Imaging service at Southport (Gold Coast University Hospital) and a Level 4 service at Robina.
