The Executive Manager will be responsible for leading a comprehensive assessment and strategic redevelopment of records management within the QAS. This includes the review and evaluation of current practices, systems, and policies across physical and digital domains, and the formulation of a future-ready, compliant, and an efficient records management framework.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Proven executive-level experience in records and information management within complex, multi-disciplinary or government organisations.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale records management initiatives, including both physical and digital records.
- Comprehensive knowledge of records management legislation, standards and frameworks relevant to Queensland public sector entities.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities, with a history of delivering practical, risk-based, and future-focused business proposals and plans.
- High-level interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
- Experience in developing or updating organisational policy, procedure, and compliance documentation related to information and records governance.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Whilst not mandatory, tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s in a business-related discipline will be highly regarded.
- The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required.
