Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Lead a team that are responsible for day-to-day accounts payable tasks, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement digital strategies to streamline accounts payable processes, improving accuracy and efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and vendors, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
• Work collaboratively with other leaders and peers within the Unit to ensure policies, strategies and team direction is well aligned towards future direction of the Unit.
• Actively lead the development, implementation and maintenance of governance frameworks to ensure compliance with public sector legislation, standards, policies, practices and procedures relating to financial resources.
• Perform additional finance related tasks as requested by the Manager.
