Principal Policy Advisor, Trauma

The Trauma Team at the Queensland Mental Health Commission facilitates the implementation of The Queensland Trauma Strategy 2024-2029 by working across government, non-government and community. The Trauma Strategy identifies how trauma-informed approaches can be improved and embedded across a wide range of service and system settings.
Reporting to the Project Manager, Trauma Strategy, you will play a key role in leading the design, development and supporting early implementation of a cross-agency trauma-informed framework that will support policy, practice and operational considerations across government.
You will have a strong understanding of trauma and trauma-informed practices and approaches and how embedding these approaches at an agency and systems level can improve service experiences and outcomes for people who have experienced trauma.
