Senior Project Officer
Protected Area Investment; Protected Area Strategy & Investment; Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service QPWS & Partnerships; Brisbane City
This role is part of the Private Protected Area Investment (PPAI) unit in the Protected Area Strategy and Investment (PASI) branch of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWS&P). The Private Protected Area Investment Program (PPAP) partners with landholders to establish protected areas (nature refuges and special wildlife reserves) on privately owned lands that have significant and exceptional natural and cultural values.
The Senior Project Officer will contribute to a dynamic team that delivers an ongoing program of work supporting the expansion and stewardship of Queensland’s private protected area system. The position will work in collaboration with PPAI teams and program stakeholders, both internal and external to government, to develop, maintain, and enhance PPAP data and information management systems, and reporting capabilities.
