The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Director Support Officer (Psychology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Deliver confidential and professional secretarial and administration support
- Manage diaries, appointments, and meetings to ensure efficient daily operations
- Liaise with staff at all levels to provide timely and accurate service
- Use strong communication skills to anticipate needs and deliver effective solutions
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
- While not mandatory, a tertiary degree would be well regarded

Salary
- Permanent part time (15.2 hrs p.f.)
- Base salary ranging from $38.81 - $43.16 per hour

Psychology services work across the Gold Coast Health and Hospital Service in areas including the acute hospital setting, rehabilitation, chronic disease, cancer services, palliative care, paediatric services and mental health, to assess, diagnose and treat psychological and behavioural concerns related to physical and mental health.
