About the role
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Prepare and disseminate high quality project documentation including project management plans and materials for specific project activities associated with achieving project objectives and other documents as required.
- Provide leadership to the administration services across Prison and Youth Detention Health Services to ensure delivery of a high performing, responsive and patient centred administration service with a focus on service improvement and optimisation
- Lead optimisation of administration workflows and processes to support optimisation of the PeMR system.
- Provide leadership and oversight of PeMR data quality and reporting functions.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Extensive knowledge of the health environment with the ability to coordinate a responsive, patient centred, high performing administration service directly supporting a correctional health environment.
- Well developed knowledge and previous experience in establishing key performance indicator targets, reporting and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for an administration service.
- Well developed knowledge and application of human resource principles and practices including recruitment and selection, professional development and performance management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, understanding professional boundaries to achieve best possible patient outcomes.
- Considerable understanding and experience in developing and implementing new and innovative work practices and/or models of service delivery in a health care setting.
- Well developed effective oral and written communication skills, problem solving/analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills including consultation, facilitation, and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
