QLeave is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our Enterprise Program, Planning and Delivery Division. Based in Brisbane’s north, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a range of strategic and customer focused projects within a start up project team. Operating in a complex legislative environment, we’re looking for someone who can work independently, engage effectively across diverse business units, and deliver meaningful outcomes and deliverables for the projects.

This is a flexible, temporary full-time opportunity for 12 months, with the possibility of extension, where you’ll play a key role in delivering strategic projects and initiatives that support efficient implementation and contribute to QLeave’s mission of supporting Queensland’s workers.

About the Role

As a Senior Program Officer, you will support the delivery of a range of projects and initiatives that contribute to QLeave's future direction and strategic goals. You will business partner with colleagues to support the implementation of a coordinated program of work.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as a business representative to support the implementation of new processes and systems, including their development, customisation, and integration with existing processes and systems.
  • Conduct gap analyses on business templates and coordinate the development and implementation of updated templates within the Operations Teams.
  • Create wireframes and engage with stakeholders on system-related inquiries and meetings, including coordinating with the external stakeholders engaged to deliver the system.
  • Create and contribute to the production of artefacts and reports for the implementation of new processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with the other project subject matter experts, business representatives, QLeave internal teams and external stakeholders to undertake project delivery preparation and contribute to ensuring that project timelines are met.
  • Work with partners and vendors to provide high-level advice on solutions for complex business problems.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to identify and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills and demonstrate proficiency in digital technologies and systems analysis, with an attention to detail in developing, documenting, and implementing systems and processes, and an ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal project stakeholders and external technology vendors to support the successful delivery of project outcomes.

Prior experience in project management, systems analysis, CRM implementation, and/or administrative processing will be favourably regarded.
