The purpose of this role is to provide a highly customer focused coordination role aimed at supporting processes that provide an effective and efficient function for the classification and issue of patient and customer accounts for Sunshine Coast Hospital and health Service.
Key Responsibilities include:
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly and confidently with patients, members of the public and departmental staff both in person and over the telephone, answering enquiries and providing accurate advice on all Revenue related matters. Maintain confidentiality, exercise tact, discretion, and sound judgement in the absence of decision makers when liaising with senior medical and administrative staff, patients, and members of the public.
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records in S4HANA, HBCIS and other financial systems, ensuring accounting functions comply with Financial Management Standards, Queensland Health Financial Management Practice Manual and other legislative frameworks.
- Answering enquiries and providing accurate advice on Revenue related matters. Maintain confidentiality, exercise tact, discretion and sound judgement in the absence of decision makers when liaising with administrative staff, patients and members of the public.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $97,656 p.a., comprising salary rates: $38.81- $43.16 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (Fixed term temporary part time position available for five months, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
