General Medicine and Palliative Care, Division of Medicine are looking for a Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS) to join their team. The Palliative Care service has been designed according to the overarching principles of timely and ease of access to quality end of life care for palliative patients and their families. This includes use of flexible bed management strategies which ensure a level of patient privacy and comfort for dying patients and their relatives.

About the Role

• The Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS) practices under predominantly indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN); utilising advanced clinical skills to provide evidence-based person-centred care within Ward 3A.
• Demonstrate an advanced depth of knowledge, skills, experience, and competence in general medical and palliative care nursing care and effectively integrates theory into informed clinical practice.
• Collaborate with the RN in clinical and organisational governance through active participation in leadership behaviours and decision making.
