The Learning and Workforce Development Service provides education, research, and workforce development support across the CHQ acute and community-based services and education support across the State of Queensland. The Queensland Children’s Hospital is the single specialist children's hospital for the state, providing children’s clinical, educational and support services at a tertiary level. The Clinical Practice Facilitator supports, plans, facilitates and evaluates learning opportunities under the guidance of the Nurse Educator. The Clinical Practice Facilitator provides advanced clinical care within a specialty area, supporting the functioning of the unit through the application of leadership, best practice teaching and learning strategies and education portfolio management.

About the Learning and Workforce Development Service
The Learning and Workforce Development Service provides education, research, and workforce development support across the CHQ acute and community-based services and education support across the State of Queensland. The Queensland Children's Hospital is the single specialist children's hospital for the state, providing children's clinical, educational and support services at a tertiary level.
The Integrated Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) provides complex secondary and tertiary level health care. CYMHS offers specialised mental health services for families with children and young people who experience severe and complex mental health problems, and where their needs cannot be met by other service. CYMHS combines hospital and community-based facilities to provide free consultation, assessment and treatment of children and young people experiencing serious mental health disorders and problems with their carer network.
Your Opportunity
The Clinical Practice Facilitator supports, plans, facilitates and evaluates learning opportunities under the guidance of the Nurse Educator. The Clinical Practice Facilitator provides advanced clinical care within a specialty area, supporting the functioning of the unit through the application of leadership, best practice teaching and learning strategies and education portfolio management.
