About the Division
The Resilience and Recovery Division provides leadership, direction and advice to agencies and stakeholders to ensure Queensland's disaster recovery and resilience policies and programs reduce risk, increase resilience and improve preparedness for disasters
About the Team
The Policy and Program Design team are responsible for delivering actions to improve the resilience of Queensland communities and facilitate locally led disaster recovery, coordinate Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) extraordinary funding packages and resilience funding programs, and help communities prepare for and recover from disasters.
About the Role
- Develop logic models, evaluation and performance measurement frameworks, monitoring and evaluation plans, questionnaires and other tools to evaluate Category C and D exceptional circumstances packages, in line with state and federal methodologies, templates and guidelines.
- Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to support evaluation planning and reporting activities.
- Build and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external evaluation stakeholders.
- Support the development of quality and fit-for-purpose evaluation reports on the appropriateness, efficiency and effectiveness of Category C and D packages against their recovery and resilience objectives.
- Share data insights and use evidence and lessons learnt from evaluation reporting to inform future package design.
- Create and review content that contributes to QRA's wise practice approach to monitoring and evaluation.
- Work across internal stakeholders to support process improvements for evidence collection and reporting.
- Undertake related project and other duties of equivalent complexity as required.
- This role reports to the Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation.
