• Salary range: $2510.50 to $2657.50 p.f. (OO3)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

This position will assist nursing, medical and surgical staff within the 14 Operating theatre complex and outline areas to ensure a safe and efficient work area. This position includes frequent and repetitive lifting, manual handling of medical equipment and patients. Appropriate manual handling will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to work am and pm shifts.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

• Highly Desirable: Although not mandatory, qualifications relevant to the position would be well regarded.
• Shifts: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
• Highly regarded: Demonstrated ability to perform the roles of an Operating Theatre Assistant.
• Highly regarded: Previous Manual Handling Experience in a Health Care setting.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
