An exciting opportunity exists for a Business Support Officer to join our Mental Health and Specialised Service team. The Business Support Officer will work within a team setting which supports the corporate functions within the Mental Health and Specialised Service. You will be required to perform a broad range of business support functions to ensure consistent and high quality services are delivered in clinical and non-clinical areas, whilst working in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders.

The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, Mental Health and Specialised Service, operates within an integrated model of care that provides a range of mental health services across community and hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the provision of effective customer services by providing advice, fostering team building, maintaining cooperative relationships, leading change and contributing to quality improvement activities.
  • Provide monthly cost centre reports including leave management and payroll etc to all cost centres within the Mental Health Service.
  • Develop and proactively foster effective working relationships with Mental Health & Specialised Services leadership and team members, specialist consultants and other relevant agencies and individuals, including dealing with sensitive or confidential information in an appropriate manner.
  • Analyse staffing and patient activity data, benchmarks and key performance indicators through the advanced use of Microsoft Office applications and Queensland Health Corporate systems.

Remuneration value up to $114 177 p.a., comprising salary between $90 832 - $100 071 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4).
