We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a AO6 Senior Media, Communications and Engagement Advisor to join the Communications and Engagement team within the Department of Education's Infrastructure Services Division.

You have the chance to play a pivotal role in sharing how, through building, expanding and improving schools for the growing Queensland population, we are helping to deliver quality education to kids around the state.

About You:

Your natural creative talents mean you can jump from writing briefing notes and function profiles, to assisting with urgent issues and crisis communications, or taking on community engagement or internal comms.

In this busy role you'll need relevant experience coordinating and supporting a broad range of engagement, communication and event activities. Detail driven, you'll be responsible for liaising with relevant business units, various stakeholders, delivery partners, and staff to produce results through effective communication activities across the Infrastructure Services Division.

As this vacancy involves regular school visits it is a requirement to possess a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services and have a current driver's licence.
