The Support Officer is responsible for the provision of efficient and confidential administrative and business support services to the Front-line Services Group. The role is responsible for the coordination and management of administrative requests for support and data integrity.
The position also provides assistance with a wide range of administrative activities including records management, correspondence, and general support duties.
The Support Officer plays an important role in maintaining a range of the information systems and will assist the business unit in providing a high level of service that directly impacts front-line ambulance operations.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
• Demonstrated understanding, or the ability to rapidly acquire a high level of understanding of the structure, roles, functions, and services in a complex government agency.
• Proven experience in providing administrative support to a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and limited resources.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare accurate, concise reports, submissions, and correspondence.
• Demonstrated high level attention to detail and organisational skills, including the ability to set and review priorities and manage multiple complex tasks and projects within tight deadlines, with a high level of autonomy.
• The ability to work independently and a demonstrated ability to be proactive in seeking additional responsibilities where appropriate and possible.
• Good relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with influence across a broad range of clients and stakeholders and to contribute positively to the team.
There are no mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements for this role.
• Experience in government, health care or emergency services would be highly regarded.
