In this position you will:
- This position provides a unique opportunity to utilise your specific clinical expertise, advanced leadership and management skills to role model excellence in nursing care and leadership, while contributing to the ongoing development of safe quality health service delivery at Atherton Hospital.
- Demonstrates in-depth clinical knowledge and leadership in the specific area of clinical practice in the area of responsibility.
- Actively leads operational and strategic planning for all auspices of the in-patient and associated unit(s).
- Provides excellent nursing leadership that drives research and quality improvement initiatives, based upon principles of person-centred family inclusive care.
- Promotes local mentorship, preceptorship, and clinical supervision skills.
