As the Senior Project Officer, Spatial you will be responsible for supporting the Fire Services team and the broader Management and Operations branch.

Responsibilities of this role will include creating and maintaining fire-related data and map products, webapps, field collection tools and inputting data into PowerBl dashboards. Create, manage and maintain, extract, transform, load (ET L) processes and automations and support functions for the department's fire management program.

This role is within Fire Services business unit. Fire Services provides strategic direction and oversight at the State level in key areas such as fire planning, training, operational standards, policies, governance and support to the delivery of the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWSP) fire management program.

As the Senior Project Officer, Spatial you will be responsible for supporting the Fire Services team and the broader Management and Operations branch. Responsibilities of this role will include creating and maintaining fire-related data and map products, webapps, field collection tools and inputting data into PowerBI dashboards. Create, manage and maintain, extract, transform, load (ETL) processes and automations and support functions for the department's fire management program.

The position is also required to interface with and provide Tier 2 system support to FLAME (fire information management system). Experience in FME analysis, python scripting and ESRI ArcGIS highly regarded.
