The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is seeking a Senior Program Delivery Officer to join the Program Workforce Unit. The Program Workforce Unit is responsible for managing a range of workforce functions including the casual workforce employed under the QCAA Act to support the activities related to implementation of senior internal and external assessment.

What you will do

In the Senior Program Delivery Officer role, you will:

  • Coordinate recruitment activities for QCAA assessors, invigilators, subject matter experts, and markers, ensuring compliance with policies and timelines
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of operational procedures, systems and data management practices with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation and service quality.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality recruitment and workforce solutions, maintaining clear communication and timely follow-up on key deliverables.
  • Monitor and manage designated components of recruitment projects, including tracking progress, ensuring quality assurance of data, and meeting critical milestones and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare accurate and well-informed briefs, reports, correspondence and submissions, and support the effective resolution of service delivery issues.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to casual workforce management processes undertaken through the QCAA Portal, providing practical advice and escalating complex matters as required.
  • Provide operational advice on key projects, collaborate with the Principal Workforce Management Officer to manage peak workloads through cross-unit planning, and contribute to a culture of change and performance development through regular two-way feedback.

To succeed in this role, you will be a proactive and collaborative professional who can build staff capability, drive continuous improvement, and manage operational processes to support key projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement, effective communication, and the ability to resolve service delivery issues, while contributing to a culture of flexibility, innovation, and performance development.

This role reports to the Principal Workforce Management Officer, Program Workforce Unit. There are no direct reports.
