Operational Support Services, Corporate Services are looking for a Operational Support Officer to join their Bayside Health Service team. The purpose of this position is to provide leadership, training and supervision of staff and take part in the provision of a high standard of service both within the section and to its customers to ensure that all patient handling.

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership, training and supervision of staff and take part in the provision of a high standard of service both within the section and to its customers to ensure that all patient handling, transportation of patients and general cleaning and waste management is carried out in accordance with the effective work practices and standards.

• Fulfil the accountabilities of this rolein accordance with Queensland Health's ICARE² values, as outlined below.
• Clean various clinical and administrative areas to the required standards, only utilising approved cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Patient transfers and Assistance with patient care as directed.
• Undertake duties and respond to requests as directed by supervisor in a timely manner.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment in good working order, in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
