About the role

Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to supply strategic direction to a clinical pharmacy team to ensure the sustainable delivery of pharmacy services through planning and prioritisation of available resources.
  • Advanced management knowledge and skills and advanced leadership to manage a medium sized clinical pharmacy team, including ability to influence team culture and vision.
  • Lead innovative clinical and operational excellence through the development and implementation of standards, procedures and practices.
  • Specialised level knowledge, expertise and skills in contemporary clinical practice standard within the team being supervised and a well-developed general pharmacy clinical knowledge, expertise and skill.
  • Educate, influence, advise, and mentor internal and external colleagues, through consultation and collaborative problem solving, to implement interventions which improve medication safety outcomes within appropriate operational and budgetary constraints.
