We're excited to welcome a Podiatrist to our Podiatry Service.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Deliver podiatry clinical services for assessment and treatment for clients who have acute foot disease and associated conditions as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health.  This is in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of Sunshine Coast Health (SCH).

Key Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of podiatry services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols. For complex or novel cases, you will seek direction from clinical seniors as appropriate.
• Apply clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit and Health Service procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems (statistics collection, quality data). Ensure that time spent across clinical and non-clinical work is in keeping with assigned requirements.

Remuneration value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $79,051 - $116,189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
