Bundaberg North State High School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head of Department (Curriculum) to join our leadership team.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the Industrial Technology & Design, Information Technology, The Arts, and our emerging Agriculture faculty.
We are seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who
can ensure high-quality, consistent curriculum delivery across these practical, hands-on learning areas while upholding essential Workplace Health and Safety standards.

Your Opportunity
As the Head of Department (Curriculum) you will:
- Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives
- Participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division
- Develop the quality of teaching and learning
- Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.
The Head of Department (Curriculum) is accountable to and under the direction of the Principal or delegate.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department (Curriculum), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Drive curriculum innovation and excellence across your faculties.
- Foster strong, respectful relationships with students, staff, parents, carers, and industry partners.
- Provide real-world learning opportunities that connect students with future career pathways.
- Contribute to whole-school leadership, including the academic and wellbeing support of Year 10 students.
