We're excited to welcome a Clinical Neuropsychologist-Senior to deliver high level Neuropsychology clinical services and leadership across one or more specific work units, to stakeholders/customers of Sunshine Coast Health.

The Brain Injury Case-Management Service (BICS) is a specialist Allied Health Acquired Brain Injury service for people living in the community. The role of the Neuropsychologist will primarily be to provide specialist support and intervention for changes to thinking skills, emotions and behaviour to help customers improve their quality of life and achieve their short-term goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Deliver independent high level Neuropsychology clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Ex clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Neuropsychology practitioners and students as delegated.

Remuneration value up to $157,359 p.a.(f/t), comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (full time or part time position available, hours flexible).
