As the Senior Admin Officer, you will provide effective and high quality financial, human resources and business support within the Centre for Leadership Excellence.
What you'll do
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective administrative and business support systems, including those relating to the management of assets, finance, human resources, reporting and business processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to information requests and demonstrating compliance with policies and procedures.
- Provide high quality advice and business support to the Centre for Leadership on the management of assets, financial and human resource management, reporting and business systems.
- Provide support, advice, and training in administrative and business support activities to staff undertaking general business support tasks as required.
- Liaise, consult, and maintain effective relationships with team members, internal and external customers and other stakeholders.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of administration and business support services to deliver a timely and quality service.
- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with officers at all levels incorporating the abilities of integrity, tact, maintenance of ethical conduct, confidentiality and client interests.
- Administrative support skills and experience of a high standard including knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the information systems relevant to the business.
- Experience, skills and knowledge of departmental budgetary processes, reporting requirements and the ability to extract, collate and interpret budgetary and financial information.
- Ability to utilise S/4HANA for procurement and invoice payment highly desirable.
- Ability to self-motivate, work cooperatively, effectively and collaboratively within a team environment and deliver work of high quality, validity and accuracy to achieve team outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously and utilise discretion in the absence of decision makers, meet deadlines and establish work priorities to maximise efficiency, work output and the changing needs within the team.
- Ability to rapidly acquire a working knowledge of the procedures and practices relating to the administration of the branch and demonstrate a commitment to quality customer service.
