About the role
- Permanent full time opportunity to provide leadership and expertise in performance, financial management and corporate governance activities and actively participate in the management of key relationships and agreements/contracts of a business nature. This shall also include leadership in Activity Based funding requirements and costing structures for the Service Line.
- As a member of the Executive Leadership Team provide high level business management analysis and advice enabling the clinical service lines to deliver quality, cost effective services that are consistent with the strategic and operational directions of the Service Line and Metro North Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Support the Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement health care service delivery in line with the Metro North Health strategic vision and objectives.
- Coordinate the Clinical Service Line process of operating budget and forecast preparation.
- Provide monthly reporting analysis and advice on Clinical Service Line and cost centre performance in terms of revenue, expenditure, FTE's and activity highlighting relevant variances to assist in decision making processes within an activity based funding environment.
- Undertake operational performance management activities (including data analysis and investigation, the provision of regular reports and recommendations to Executive and Cost Centre Managers) by monitoring and analysing data from relevant information systems in relation to patient activity levels, budget, financial position and forecasts, human resource and workplace health and safety indicators.
- Support the Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement annual business plans (incorporating clinical activity levels, workforce, quality requirements operating and capital budget).
